The works will comprise the demolition of the existing structures and the erection of fourteen two storey semi-detached dwellings of traditional load bearing construction with associated site works. The 14 homes will be built to Lifetime EcoHomes standard and will be assessed under The Code for Sustainable Homes-May 2009, with Code 4 to be achieved.
The structure is of traditional construction incorporating in-situ concrete ground floor slabs, timer first floors and pitched roofs.
The external walls are cavity construction with facing brickwork/ rendered block-work and plastered block-work internally.
uPVC glazed windows and hardwood secured by design external doors. The roof finish is concrete roofing tiles to pitched roofs; internally the work will include floor, wall and ceiling finishes. External works will include new paving, garden walls, fencing, garden landscape and drainage
