We are currently seeking to employ a suitably qualified Quantity Surveyor in a busy construction office to take over a number of live construction projects in both Northern Ireland and ROI.

The ideal Candidate should have be able to have the following:
A Quantity surveyor by profession with Quantity Surveying Qualification 2:1 or better, with a minimum of 5 Years Quantity Surveying experience in the construction industry (post qualification).
Significant experience & working knowledge of Social Housing Construction.
Computer Literate, including a working knowledge of auto-cad, budgeting tools, Microsoft project, etc.
Working knowledge of both JCT & NEC forms of contract.
Preparation of tender and contract documents, including BOQ’s.
Advising on procurement strategy.
Preparing and analysing costings for tenders.
Allocating work to subcontractors.
Providing advice on contractual claims.
Valuing completed work and arranging payments.
Understanding the implications of health and safety regulations.
Own car & clean licence, Valid CSR Card
For the successful candidate and after a 3 month trial period this position will be made Permanent.
